South Beach, Miami:

Perfect property for your next incentive trip. Great location on South Beach, multiple pools, outdoor space for cocktail parties, impressive rooftop terrace, large rooms, and staff that makes you smile. The style is perfect for companies with guests from ages 25-60. The driftwood, natural living theme is warm and inviting as it presents the perfect backdrop for a relaxing few days. For those looking for more action, there’s a trendy upscale rooftop bar on property along with plenty of bars/clubs/restaurants just a few steps away.   The staff that services the main pools and beach are always looking to please and are great about learning names and making sure you have the best experience ever. The drinks are refreshing, the menu is perfect for pool-side dining. Overall it’s the perfect spot with private cabanas, pool-side beach chairs and loungers throughout.

Highlights Include:

  • South Beach's largest Rooftop Pool and Lounge
  • Guest Rooms Average Over 700 sq Feet (2 King Beds Option)
  • Location on Collins Ave, steps away from South Beach nightlife

Eco-Luxe Beachfront Property:

The hotel is ready to handle large incentive groups and will be competing with the W located next door. Pricing is definitely on the higher side compared to Fontainebleau and some of the other more common incentive properties. One major advantage over the W is the room size and the availability of 2 beds in a room (1 Hotel even has rooms with 2 KING BEDS compared to the W which has only 5 rooms total with any size two beds on property). Also the W only has the one main pool which can be loud and clubby versus the 1 Hotel has 4 different pool options, all with different scenes and a more relaxed vibe.

Being a new, 426-room property they definitely need to work on their process of bookings, customer service over the phone, and a few details behind the scenes. But you can’t get everything right from day 1.

CONCLUSION:

Overall the 1 Hotel is the new player on the scene and came in hot!! I foresee the 1 Hotel stealing many incentive group opportunities from The Breakers and Fontainebleau for the next few years!
