The 2018 incentive season has come to a close! The list of resorts below hosted our most successful President’s Club trips.

Unico 20º87º

Hyatt Ziva/Zilara, Montego Bay, Jamaica

The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba

Secrets Cap Cana

  1. UNICO 20º87º - This property has been featured in many blogs in the industry and is one of the most instagrammed resorts in the world. The property design and decor is beautiful and the layout is perfect for a mid-sized incentive group. The service in Mexico never disappoints and Unico 20º87º continues to only get better. The extremely affordable spa is a huge perk. With 4 visits, it did not disappoint for any of our client events in 2018.Unico 2087 Sunrise
  2. Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Rose Hall Jamaica - This property has come a long way since summer 2018 when room renovations started. The Hyatt did a great job of re-training their staff over the fall and presented a great all-around product this spring for our 3 incentive trips.  Highlights include their new gym, impressive evening entertainment, jerk shack, and a la carte dinner restaurants.Hyatt Zilara Jamaica-1
  3. The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba - This property is one of our go-to hotels due to the easy airlift from the East Coast. For those used to Ritz-Carlton service in the US you will need to be patient with island time but the property has a beautiful beach, impressive spa, and great dinner options.Ritz Aruba
  4. Secrets Cap Cana - The last property will have a few struggles in 2019 due to the construction of the Hyatt next door (contract rooms on other side of resort) and the continued Sargassum seaweed problem that South Beach, Mexico, and DR are facing. In 2018 the property impressed from the food to the pool experience and even the room design/decor. Unfortunately the service in Punta Cana is a step behind Aruba or Mexico, but the hotel has spent the last year training their staff and replacing those who fell short.  The proximity to the airport and safety of the Cap Cana region is also a huge bonus of this property.

Unfortunately, 2018 was a challenging year due to lack of inventory following the hurricanes and  Zika concerns. Many luxury incentive-focused properties in the Caribbean were closed and trips had to be moved to alternate destinations. The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, Caneel Bay, St. John, Westin St. Maarten, Four Seasons Anguilla, Marriott St. Thomas, W Vieques Puerto Rico, and more were closed during the busy incentive time.  In 2019 we will have some properties coming back online post hurricane renovations. However, there will still be a major shortage in the USVI’s and St. Maarten, as some hotels not opening until 2020 the earliest.
