Anguilla Hotel Luxury Experience:

“Throughout the Anguillan resort, modern architectural forms interplay with the natural environment, while sophisticated, contemporary interiors by designer Kelly Wearstler add rich textural contrast. The resort's signature restaurant, Cobà, offers dining with exquisite views of Barnes Bay and Meads Bay, and the dramatic bay-view Sunset Lounge and cliff-side Half Shell beach bar and restaurant add to the culinary offerings at this stunning luxury Caribbean resort. Two white sand beaches, our glimmering Sunset Pool, an array of water sports, a spa and fitness center, and programs for children and families add to Viceroy's rarefied experience.”

The Viceroy could not be more accurate in describing their Anguilla property.  High end service, modern rooms, private plunge pools, and gorgeous views; the Viceroy Anguilla is truly top notch. The size of the property combined with three pools (one adult only) allows for a luxurious and a relaxing vibe. Anguilla is located a quick 30 minute boat ride from Princess Juliana Airport on the island of St. Maarten which has daily direct flights from NYC, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Miami.  You will leave the Viceroy planning your next visit back.  The friendliness of the staff will leave you with a lasting impression and the incredible sunsets will leave you wanting more days in paradise.

For an incentive travel destination it provides world-class dining, endless activities, and an extremely welcoming culture.  Activities include boat trips to private islands, swimming with the dolphins, sailing races, cooking classes, spa treatments, horseback riding, beach-side scavenger hunts, and shopping trips to St. Maarten.

Depending on the size of your group, availability is tight during the winter season and rates can hurt the budget.  During May-July or early November rates drop drastically and it’s still a great time to visit the Caribbean.  I do recommend ensuring you book waterfront rooms only as the rooms in back of the resort leave you with a drastically different experience than the waterfront studio rooms.  The oceanfront views and private plunge pools on the sundeck of each guest's room will impress them immediately.  Similar to other five star resorts, food and beverage prices are on the higher end so be prepared for a significant budget for food and beverage spend.  Anguilla is not known for “cheap” food options but it is known for great live music, white sand beaches, crystal clear water, and friendly locals.
